Acne Studios taps acclaimed artist Jonathan Lyndon Chase to transforms the runway into a compelling narrative space, for its Spring/Summer 2025 (SS25) fashion show.
The installation, set in the garden of L’Observatoire de Paris, explores the complex relationships between domestic and public spaces, focusing on the experiences of Black queer bodies. This collaboration marks a significant moment in fashion, blending high art with high fashion in a way that challenges and inspires.
The SS25 collection serves as Acne Studios’ latest commitment to innovation and creativity. The garments, designed by Creative Director Jonny Johansson, are eclectic and youthful, featuring silhouettes inspired by camera bags, baseball caps, and jewelry inset with tiny gems. The collection’s bold and playful aesthetic complements Chase’s artistic vision, resulting in a cohesive and visually stunning presentation.
This collaboration with Jonathan Lyndon Chase signifies a new chapter for Acne Studios, one that embraces the intersection of fashion and art. By incorporating Chase’s unique perspective, the SS25 show not only showcases the latest trends but also sparks important conversations about identity, space, and representation.
