Modifiers Transformed a Fiat Panda Into the World’s Lowest Car

Car modifier group Carmagheddon has created the world’s lowest car, essentially cutting a Fiat Panda in half. The collective – made up of Cocchi Rudi, Matteo Marzetti and Nicola Guadagnin – detailed how they downsized the Panda while maintaining that it would be street-legal in a transformation video shared to YouTube.

Cut off right below its windows, the vehicle’s original frame was swapped out for that of a go kart. Miniature wheels, the kind that would be used on a shopping car, were used to elevate the floor of the Panda off of the ground by just a few inches. The result makes the car seem as if its floating down the street due to the sheer invisibility of the Panda in contrast to its tiny wheels.

As expected, the car runs at a fraction of the speed of the original Fiat Panda. And if someone wants to drive it, they’ll not only have to crawl into the vehicle but will also have to lay horizontally on their stomach while operating it.

It may be street-legal but the low-level Fiat Panda certainly isn’t, although it does make for a fun – an impressive – experiment in just how low a car can go.
