Earlier in March of this year, news broke of a Devin Booker signature shoe line with Nike set for a release in 2024. Today, Sneaker News brings you a world exclusive first look at the debut model for the Phoenix Suns shooting guard called the BOOK 1. The shoes pictured are sales samples, but are a strong indication of the final model.\n\n\nDevin Booker, arguably the best shooting guard in the game, instantly established himself as a deadly scoring threat since entering the league in 2015. Subscribing to Kobe Bryant’s “Mamba Mentality”, Book approached the game with laser focus, amassing All-NBA First Team nods, All-Star appearances, and even an NBA Finals berth in eight seasons. Entering his ninth campaign this Fall, Booker aims for a second shot at the NBA Finals thanks to a revamped Phoenix Suns roster that includes a whopping four max contract players; despite the wealth of talent, Booker is primed to carry much of the load.\n\n\nOff the court, Devin Booker has honed a refined aesthetic rivaled by few. A man of few words, Booker’s social media is made up of well-manicured photography paired with captions that adhere to brevity. Aside from his gorgeous home architecture and unique fashion sense, Booker is best known for his love of low-riders and muscle cars, often showing up to games in classic American automobiles instead of whatever new Lambo hits the market.\n\n\nHis BOOK 1 signature shoe mirrors that old school appeal and desire to walk off the beaten path as the shoes clearly connect with the early 1980s era aesthetic of Nike Basketball. Clearly there’s a bit of the Air Force 1 on a 3\/4 cut height. The newly revealed BOOK1 logo appears on the tongue, while ’96 — his birth year — proudly sits on the heel pull-tab. The black\/gold colorways are samples that may not reflect the final colorways of the shoe.\n\n\nIn addition to the BOOK 1 is a new model that is tentatively called the Craftsman and currently intended for a 2025 release. The uppermost lace eyelet also reads “BOOK”, but as of now there is no clear connection between this model and Devin.\n\n\nRelease information for Devin Booker’s Nike BOOK 1 and Nike Craftsman have not been revealed, but a release is confirmed for next year.\n\n\nThe Nike BOOK1 signature shoe is currently expected to release in 2024.
