The Hundreds Opens New Flagship Store in Los Angeles

The heartbeat of streetwear culture just got stronger as The Hundreds unveiled its brand-new flagship store on the bustling corner of Fairfax and Rosewood. This momentous occasion marks the next chapter for the iconic brand, which celebrates its 15th anniversary this year.

The N. Fairfax Avenue location replaces The Hundreds’ original flagship store on Rosewood Avenue, a spot that held a decade’s worth of memories and sneakerhead dreams. To honor this transition, The Hundreds introduces a limited-edition “Rosewood” capsule collection exclusively available at the new store.

The Capsule Collection

The capsule pays homage to the old flagship with a blend of nostalgia and fresh design. Here’s what you can expect:

  1. Mastodons and “DEATH FROM BELOW”: These motifs, symbolic of rebirth and resilience, adorn hoodies, tees, and an M-65 field jacket. Bobby Hundreds himself screen-printed these graphics, infusing them with personal significance.
  2. An Enormous Mastodon Skeleton: Inside the new flagship, a massive mastodon skeleton emerges from the ground. It’s a nod to both the nearby La Brea Tar Pits and The Hundreds’ own journey. As co-founder Bobby Hundreds humorously puts it, “We turn 15 this year, which is like 250 in streetwear years.”
  3. Historical Artifacts: Scattered around the “tar” surrounding the mastodon sculpture are artifacts from The Hundreds’ past. Look out for the label’s Ben Baller chain, a Back to the Future hoverboard, a collaborative Garfield toy, and even a brick from The Hundreds’ old New York store.

As The Hundreds continues to evolve, this flagship store represents not just a retail space but a hub for creativity, community, and culture. So, head over to 501 N Fairfax Avenue and immerse yourself in the legacy of The Hundreds. It’s more than a store; it’s a statement.
